The Danforth Staff Council’s mission is to serve and represent non-faculty and non-union Danforth staff members. They seek to collaborate with the senior administration and Human Resources to broaden and strengthen the lines of communication on matters that impact staff and to provide advice to the administration on policy decisions.

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion offers training opportunities to support the School of Medicine community in developing a greater awareness, understanding, commitment and action framework regarding diversity, equity and inclusion.

These resources are intended to help groups and individuals across the medical campus learn more about matters related to diversity, equity and inclusion.

The Washington University Diversity Programs Consortium – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WUDPC-STEM) Focus exists to strengthen the university’s pipeline efforts to recruit, retain and support individuals from underrepresented backgrounds in science and research related fields.

The Gender Equity and Title IX Compliance Office is committed to responding to gender and sex discrimination – including sexual harassment and sexual violence – in an effective and timely manner. We are equally committed to ensuring any individuals involved in these incidents will be treated fairly and respectfully.

WashU currently features over 400 registered student groups that create a vibrant and active campus environment. WUGO is the hub for student groups and activities.

Academic pipeline programs are a critical part of our blueprint for diversity. Through these programs, WashU is supporting and preparing students from a variety of backgrounds to enter leadership positions within research and higher education.
