Staff and faculty have organized the following groups to share resources and be in community with each other. Additionally, community members may have organized groups in their school or department.
Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA)
The mission of this shared interest group is to provide APIDA staff and faculty with opportunities to interact, strengthen professional connections and build support networks through outreach with the local APIDA community.
African American/Black Faculty and Staff Cabinet
The mission of this organization is to foster a culture of oneness by ensuring the support, equity and inclusion of African American/Black faculty and staff at WashU and to bring important issues to the attention of the university’s leadership.
Chavurah
WashU Chavurah aims to build community for Jewish faculty, staff and allies by creating opportunities of being together in a safe space, supporting each other and Jewish students, and offering values-based programs for our group and the larger WashU community.
Diversity and Inclusion Forum for Faculty and Staff (DIFFS)
A culturally inclusive and supportive network for all underrepresented faculty and staff at WashU, committed to supporting a strong diverse and inclusive environment.
SOMOS WashU
A group for Latinx/a/o faculty and staff that focus on creating opportunities for community, connection and conversation.
The Association for Women Faculty (AWF)
AWF promotes advocacy and community relating to women faculty at WashU.
